Graduated May, 1949. Played Football 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1948. Lettered all four years. All County 1948.\u00a0 He played 1st String all four years at Troy. Joined United States Navy on January 31st, 1951; discharged February 5th, 1955; Served on two destroyers-radar man. Returned to Troy winter quarter in 1955; football 1956, 1957 and 1958; graduated March 1959.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dcshof.morethanconquers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Nathan-Watson-392.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Nathan Watson<\/h2>\n<p><p>Fort Payne High School<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><p>The Fort Payne native walked-on his first two seasons at Auburn before earning a scholarship his last two seasons. Watson averaged 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a team-high 1.7 steals while shooting 46 percent from the field, 37 percent from 3-point range and 70 percent from the free throw line.
