He served as President of the Hall of Fame from its founding in 1997 to 2009. He hasbeen involved in DeKalb County sports as a basketball coach, sports announcer and football official. He helped found and coach the highly successful Fort Payne soccer program. Larry has given much time and effort to numerous community organizations including the Boy Scouts of America.
